My Skincare Routine

It’s important for women my age to take care of their skin before it’s too late. Prevention is key. Why wait until you get pimples, wrinkles or sun damage? Everyday I am exposed to environmental toxins, sun, and aging. Therefore, everyday I use these amazing products to fight that!

MORNING: In the morning I wash my face with Ole Henriksen’s African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser. I love this face wash because it smells AMAZING becasuse it contains citrus extracts of grapefruit, orange, and tangerine. It washes off any makeup I might have missed the night before. It’s an antioxidant, hydrates, purifies, and contains vitamin C to brighten and firm my skin.
Depending if I want to exfoliate my skin that morning I use either NUDE’s Detox Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash or Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. I choose between the two because they’re very different, so it depends on how my skin is that day or how I would like it to be. NUDE’s gives me an immediate glow and brightens my skin. While Philosophy’s does not give me as potent of a glow. Philosophy’s is gentle enough to use everyday and does a great job at taking away dead skin cells. It buffers fine lines and evens skin tone. NUDE’s has vitamin C, enzymes and rose hip seeds. It has a skin clearing exfoliation, eliminating dull skin and impurities. I exfoliate it 2-3 times a week to give me a bright, smooth, reduced pore, and glowing complexion.

TIP Pat your skin dry, not rub.

After my skin is clean I put on Ole Henriksen’s Truth Serum Collagen Booster. When I put this on, I feel like my skin is saying gracias Dyana! It is my daily vitamin for my face that has Grapefruit and Orange Extract, Green Tea Extract, Rosehips Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate and Vitamin C&E. It has antioxidants that fight off environmental aggressors and ingredients that nourish and protect my skin.

After the serum, it’s time for Ole Henriksen’s Sheer Transformation Moisturizer! I’ve tried a lot of different moisturizes and none compare to this one. It gives my skin an instant glow! I love how light weight it is. It helps re-texturize and smooth lines.

After the moisturizer comes Ole Henriksen’s Fresh Start Eye Creme. I love that this eye creme can be used both morning and night (which I do.) It provides a smooth foundation for eye makeup which is great! It contains Avocado Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Spirulina Micro-Algae, Vitamins A&E and Wheat Germ Oil. No arrugas for me.

TIP Apply with ring finger because it contains the least weight.

MAKEUP REMOVAL: At night I have three options, I either use Neutrogena’s Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing TowelettesSephora’s Charcoal Exfoliating Wipes or Neutrogena’s Fresh Foaming Cleanser. If Im going to wash my face with water, which I aim for, I use Neutrogena’s Fresh Foaming Cleanser because it takes off ALL my makeup and is AMAZING at taking off my eye makeup. It doesn’t leave any pore-clogging residue!

If I’m lazy, which happens, I pick between Neutrogena’s or Sephora’s wipes. Neutrogena’s removes all my makeup and leaves my skin clean with no greasy residue. Sephora’s removes my makeup, purifies and detoxifies my skin, it draws out all my impurities and pollutants. One side of the wipe is soft and the other has a beaded rough feel that exfoliates my skin!

NIGHT:  After my skin is makeup and dirt free, I put on Ole Henriksen’s Invigorating Night Treatment. It accelerates cell turnover to smooth texture & fine lines, evens skin tone and minimize appearance of pores. My skin looks great when I put it on and even better when I wake up! I let it dry so my skin really soaks up the product and I place Ole Henriken’s Sheer Moisturizer on and then Ole Henriksen’s Fresh Start Eye Creme.
